Message from the Representative
FLEXSCHE Corporation celebrated its 20th anniversary on May 22, 2021. We are deeply grateful to all our end-users and partners for this achievement. In this milestone year, I have taken over as the representative from the founder, Urano.
I joined FLEXSCHE in November 2004. At that time, FLEXSCHE had less than 50 licenses installed, and there was no end to end-users expressing concerns about the limited number of installations. To alleviate these concerns, I considered various textbook strategies such as "Let's create case studies" and "Let's change the image through public relations activities," but none of them felt right. In the midst of this, I realized that the root of the end-users' concerns was not "because there are few installations," but rather "because they don't know if they can utilize FLEXSCHE in their own operations." With the policy of "Let's help them concretely imagine how FLEXSCHE can be utilized in their operations," we revised our proposal methods for FLEXSCHE, and the number of end-users voicing "concerns" decreased, allowing us to feel the effect. Additionally, this method unexpectedly brought about a secondary effect where end-users themselves re-recognized the "value of FLEXSCHE," which was an unforeseen benefit. This harvest led us to change our proposal activity goal from "getting them to buy" to "getting them to evaluate the value," and since then, it has become the foundation of our proposal policy.

To set "getting them to evaluate the value of FLEXSCHE" as a sales goal, FLEXSCHE must naturally be a valuable product. In the summer of 2021, FLEXSCHE released version 20.0. With this release, we were finally able to launch a new product that had been long-awaited by end-users and partners. Although I will omit the details, it is a product that makes you feel at ease with a system where "if you initially provide only rough capacity values, the accuracy will gradually improve as you operate it." FLEXSCHE products are constantly evolving based on the needs of end-users and partners, but in reality, it is not simply about turning needs into functions. We take the needs of end-users and partners as a starting point, view them from multiple perspectives, pursue what the essential value is, engage in discussions at a higher level of abstraction, and through repeated trial and error by professional engineers, new functions are finally created after a period of maturation. We are fully immersed in the development work without sparing any effort, but this is nothing other than an activity to increase the "value of FLEXSCHE products."
From here on, I feel it is necessary to be even more conscious of "what is valuable for the manufacturing industry." In the future, DX (Digital Transformation) will increasingly permeate the manufacturing industry, and AI technology will further develop. With the possibility that quantum computers may no longer be a dream, FLEXSCHE may also be at a major turning point. New technologies, as has been the case in the past, tend to be overused as marketing terms, making it difficult to discern their essence. However, our company will not be swayed by trends, but will correctly learn the latest technologies with a grounded approach, incorporate the latest technologies into FLEXSCHE, evolve it properly, and devote all our efforts to creating even more valuable products than before.
To be honest, I am a little worried that many people might feel a gap between my character image and this representative message (sweat). Although it ended up being a business-like and serious talk, I wrote it sincerely without hiring a ghostwriter. If we have the opportunity to meet, please let me know your thoughts.
