* If you start the procedure to use the alternative license outside of emergencies, the alternative license key may not be usable when actually needed, so please do not do it under any circumstances.
1. Insert the alternative license key into the machine
Please insert the alternative license key into the machine where the faulty license key was inserted.
2. Start the procedure for using the alternative license key
Carry out the procedure to start using the alternative license key and temporarily acquire the license on the alternative license key. This will allow the license to be used for only three weeks.
【1】[FLEXSCHE Launcher]Start,from [Tools]launch[License Key Updater]please start it.
【2】[License Key Updater] A dialog will be displayed. If the alternative license key is inserted,[Procedure for starting the use of the alternative license] is selected. Confirm that it is selected,[Next] under [Download] in the side menu.
[3] Select the method to start using the alternative license and update the license. Click on each item to display details.
Authenticate the license via the internet
[Perform license authentication via the Internet]Select,[Next]and click
Enter the name, phone number, email address, and comment (optional) of the person in charge,[Update] Click the button. [Complete]Click the button to exit the License Key Updater. An email with instructions for the update procedure will be sent to the address.
* If you cannot connect to the internet
Obtain the license authentication key via email
* This can be used if you can send and receive emails.
[Perform License Authentication via Email]Select,[Next]Click.
Enter the name of the person in charge,
phone number, and comments (optional),[Generate Body]Press the button. A text file named
"DUMailTemplate.txt" will be generated
in the "Temp" folder, and the
application associated with txt files
will launch.
Launch your usual
email software,
Recipient: The
recipient displayed in the License Key
Updater (authorization@flexsche.com）
Subject: Optional (can be
blank)
Body: Content of the
generated txt file
Please send the
email.
You will immediately receive an email with instructions for the update procedure ("[DongleUpdater] Registration for Starting Alternative License Usage Completed"). Enter the license authentication key described in it on the License Key Updater screen,[Update]Press the button.[Complete] Click the button to exit the License Key Updater.
Obtain the license authentication key via phone
[Obtain the License Authentication Key via Phone]Select,[Next]under [Download] in the side menu.
Follow the display instructions and contact the FLEXSCHE Corporation support desk. The license authentication key will be communicated over the phone, so enter it on the License Key Updater screen,[Update]Press the button. [Complete]Click the button to exit the License Key Updater.

3. Send the faulty license key
Please promptly return the faulty license key to
the address below.
To prevent loss of the
license key during transit, please use a method
that allows you to track the status of the
package (such as courier service or registered
mail).

alternative license key expires, the license

4. Confirm the fault of the license key at FLEXSCHE Corporation
FLEXSCHE Corporation will confirm the fault of the license key and proceed with the license update procedure. After that, a new alternative license key will be sent. Please wait for contact from FLEXSCHE Corporation.
5. Update the license key
[1] After receiving contact from FLEXSCHE Corporation, again[FLEXSCHE Launcher]Start,from [Tools]launch[License Key Updater]please start it.
【2】[License Key Updater] A dialog will be displayed. If a usable license key is inserted,[Update License Information] should be selected. Confirm that it is selected, and[Next] under [Download] in the side menu.
[3] Select the method to update the license and update the license. Click on each item to display details.
Update the license via the Internet
Ensure that the machine is connected to the internet,[Execute]Press the button to update the license key to a valid license key.[Complete]Click the button to exit the License Key Updater.
* If you cannot connect to the internet
Update the license using a license file
Send an email with the following content to FLEXSCHE Corporation to obtain the license update file.

Once you receive the license update file from FLEXSCHE Corporation, [Browse]Select the license update file from,[Execute] Click the button. [Complete]Click the button to exit the License Key Updater.
[4] Launch FLEXSCHE,open [Help]launch[Version Information] Open and confirm that the license content has been updated.
6. Arrival of New Alternative License Key
The new alternative license key will arrive at your location. Please store it carefully.
7. Completion
This completes the procedure for handling license key failures using an alternative license key.
