FLEXSCHE Communicator is a groundbreaking server product that enables multiple users to share and utilize the scheduler's mechanisms and information in real-time, realizing a true scheduling system. By having various people involved in production, not just a single planning manager, use the production scheduler in cooperation and collaboration, greater effectiveness can be achieved.
Schedule sharing by multiple planning managers
We provide a mechanism that allows multiple planners to safely share a single project. While one planner obtains the authority to perform scheduling tasks and edit data, other planners can only view the schedule results and cannot make changes. It is also possible to check the current authority holder and send messages.
Simultaneous Data Editing by Multiple Clients
We provide an environment where multiple users can simultaneously edit the data of a single project on the server. Each user can connect their FLEXSCHE Editor to the FLEXSCHE Communicator and modify data in parts. For example, if someone starts editing the process definition of a certain final product, others cannot edit that process definition until the editing rights are relinquished, but they can edit the process definition of another final product.
Simultaneous Operation Coordination by Multiple Clients
We provide an environment where multiple users can simultaneously coordinate operations of a single project on the server.
Each user can connect their FLEXSCHE client to the FLEXSCHE Communicator and adjust the assignment status of the tasks they are responsible for. For example, if someone starts moving a certain operation, others cannot move that operation until the series of operations is completed, but they can move another operation.
Message Exchange and Data Transmission/Reception
We provide a dynamic operational environment by connecting web browsers and various clients for message exchange.
For example, it serves as a foundation for constructing a due date response mechanism that provides a tentative order and returns the scheduling results in real-time. Messages sent from clients can be processed not only by the server but also by other clients connected to the FLEXSCHE Communicator. In situations where immediate processing is not possible, "asynchronous processing" is also available to temporarily hold the process. It can also be used as a real-time interface for data exchange with external systems.
Scheduling on the Server
FLEXSCHE Communicator with GP is equipped with the scheduling engine of FLEXSCHE GP, enabling advanced scheduling automatically. The completed schedule can be instantly shared with everyone. When executing scheduling by connecting FLEXSCHE GP to FLEXSCHE Communicator with GP, you can choose whether to process on the server or obtain authority to process locally.
Viewer Data Distribution Function
The latest schedule is automatically distributed in a push manner to connected FLEXSCHE Viewers, and conversely, operation results input from the Viewer are incorporated.
Development Environment for Building Scheduling Systems
FLEXSCHE Communicator can also be used as a platform for building scheduling systems that rely on dynamic data exchange, allowing efficient development of applications tailored to each business.
